Hello!
I'm working on a finger ring routine, and I'm looking for some more stuff to add to it. I have heard a lot of good things about David Harkey's Goldfinger, but I don't really know what the effect is. Could someone tell me about it? I found a video on Hank Lee that has the effect on it. I have never ordered from Hank Lee before. Is it a good shop? |

Goldfinger is an awesome effect with a few variations listed in the book. Basically you tear your finger off, and the ring you are wearing falls to the table. Or using the same principle, you can make one ring change to another. The video is only available as a VHS tape and has some really, really good effects. My favorite on the video is Harkey and Anderson's East Meets West Meets South.

This effect can be found in David Harkey's book, Simply Harkey. Excellent principle, and he shares some variations on other things you can do with it.

The book is one of my favorites, and if I remember correctly, Harkey wrote that he will not show this special effect on a video. Later a video was published, and he showed this and other effects. I like his manner of thinking and his manner of performance. Although I don't perform Goldfinger, the video is worth its money and the book was one of the best buys in my long magic life!

When I saw Goldfinger in his book Simply Harkey, my mind went kaplooey! Simply brilliant way to make a finger ring penetrate through your finger, among other variations. The whole book is fantastic, one of the best I have.
Hank Lee has a good reputation in North America, but overseas customers seem to have some problems with customer service.
