This is a very simple recipe to make and the resulting candy you make is really good and you want more and more because it isn't too sweet.
` ` ` Haloween Coyote Droppings `````````````````````````` ` ` 2-cups brown sugar 1-cup butter or margarine 1/4 cup white corn syrup 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 14-1/2 ounce package Cheetos, usually the puffy type but you MAY use the hard type, if you prefer. ` ` ` Put the sugar, butter or margarine and corn syrup in a pan and bring to boil and then boil it all for 5 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and Add baking soda. Stir it in. Pour over Cheetos in large bowl. Toss until covered and then spread the cheetos on 10x15 buttered pan or spray oil on bisg roaster type pan, (you can but some made of aluminum foil at the grocery store for baking turkeys).Bake at 250 degrees F. for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Pour out on waxed paper rubbed with additional butter or cooking spray. VERY Quickly separate the Caramelized Cheetosâ„¢ pieces and try not to give into temptation! |
