These DVD's look great. Without being too obvious, will I need to buy a little "something extra" to perform either of these routines?

Chris,
You will need a [ and practice, nothing more than that. Personally I prefer Coin Two as everything happens more at chest height, but over all most people seem to prefer Coin One. Good Luck, John

Both routines have 2 handlings, one with a gaff and one with just the coins. Coinone is more suited for a small group close-up. Cointwo could be done for a larger group in close-up or parlor setting. I'm working on the nongaff version of two and boy is it a bugger, but it will be well worth it.

Can someone please tell me the exact website for purchasing CoinTwo. I've been to Homer's website before, however this time all I can seem to find are the coinone and cointwo trailers and a news and contact page. Where's the page or link for purchasing?

I prefer coin two by a big margin simply by virtue of the angle issues with coin one. I don't think you can perform it for more than few people, who are standing right over your hands. Even as a close-up guy, I'm generally not that close to people. I've seen a lot of magicians try to pull off coin one for a bigger audience or for people not standing right on top of you and watched them flash like crazy.
Coin Two works in a normal close-up or table situation and could work in parlor or stand-up depending on if people are close enough to see the coins. |

I have coinone and I like it pretty well. It DOES take some practice, so don't think you are going to master this in 20 minutes. The YYFF move is great, and it makes even magicians think there is another [ being used. you only need one. As for cointwo, I'm considering purchasing it. is it just another handling of coinone with no gimmicks? can someone elaborate a little more on the effects taught on cointwo?

Just check out the Cointwo demo on Homers' site. It's a real lesson in structuring [at least for me...]
Cointwo has a different feel from Coinone, being done at chest height mostly. It has some nice moments! |

Cointwo is based in part on Extroydinary by Troy Hooser....it is an excellent walk around routine. I feel it is more versitile than coinone.

I guess it sounds silly to ask what the effect is or where I could see it done.

I don't mean to be nasty, but have you considered using...google...? I bet you can find the demo in 3 clicks.

I also bought this from Homer and a Walking Halve expansion set from Jamie Schoolcraft. It will be awhile before I go out and perform it. The packaging of Cointwo is stunning. I love all the details and admire the extra time and work that went into it!

I have never been crazy about the neck ditch. Seems somewhat obvious to me and I can never get it to stay put anyway. I believe on Coinvention a "bandaid" servante is described and works but still a pain in the neck (no pun intended).

I feel the same, that for I don't perform the neck thing. Concerningthe two DVDs, I'd say they are "must-haves."

All in all though, both of these DVDs are pretty impressive. CoinOne in particular is one of the most stunning effects around in my opinion. I've been working on it for months and I've got it down pretty good but still not flawless. I will start performing this in public hopefully in the next few weeks. I have CoinTwo as well but haven't put much time into the routine yet.
