Good news! The Outlaw Hideout wallet arrived at my door today! So here is my initial thoughts on the wallet. I received #3 so they are coming boys.
Official Blurb- It's a regular full size bi-fold hip pocket wallet. It is made from the same sexy black leather as the Magnum card case. 1. It's primary functions are multiple outs/ Indexing and built in peek! 2. This wallet has 22 pockets, two of them gaffed for the built in peek, 9 pockets that are "hidden" and they're not in the bill compartment. The bill compartment is not gaffed. 3. It has pockets that are wide enough to hold business cards, credit cards, Kioku cards, Psi Card etc. Eight pockets of the 20 are deep enough to completely conceal a bike card with room to spare. 4. It can be set up as a switching wallet. The wallet duplicates itself (don't ask) 5. The billfold compartment is deep enough to easily hold British currency (the wide stuff ). 6. There are hidden pockets that can hold playing cards, be used for indexing, multiple outs, KK routines etc. 7. There is a built in self contained Outlaw peek function inside the wallet! 8. It is so simple yet so devious. 9. It is made by the same manufacturer as the Magnum, and they are a set. 10. A devastating addition to your arsenal! It is the Father of all Intimidating Destroyers All I have to say is its all true, This wallet is brilliant. When I first opened the wallet, I looked it over and did not even initially discover the hidden pockets!. After reading the instructions I am ready to say this is the multiple out wallet we all have been waiting for. I have owned 3 other multiple out wallets and there major downfall was the enormous size and girth of them. The Hideout looks like a normal back pocket wallet you bought at a department store. Nothing suspicious at all. With multiple out effects you don’t want a wallet that appears that it could hide “multiple outs” and a small dog. The Hideout is easily placed in your back pocket and is not much bigger than the Saw wallet. And you can put all the cash you want in it. It looks like 9 of the pockets are deep enough to completely hide a playing card, Kollosal Killers anyone? Perfect for an KK routine including Heirloom. I really like the Heirloom effect but have toyed with different wallets since I bought it, this is now an everyday wallet that I can use and perform the effect. There is also two very deep vertical pockets that can conceal more cash, or even a full size playing card, or ESP card. Another part of the wallet features an identical side which you can switch objects, notably a dollar bill for a serial divination. This could be one of the easiest impromptu serial divination's out there ! The quality is what we expect from Rick and the Outlaw group, top notch. it’s the same material as the Magnum wallet. Durable and will function with out a hitch. All this and I almost forgot about the peek! Yes my friends the wallet has a peek function as well. I know most will have questions about the peek, so I will try to answer them, you do have to reopen the wallet to gain your peek, but the peek is justifiable and will not raise an eyebrow at all. The peek as with all the Outlaw peeks is large and clear. This is the true Swiss army knife of mentalism wallets. Switches, multiple outs, and peeks and much more that looks normal and is not like sitting on a phone book in your back pocket I am sure the outlaw forums will be buzzing with ideas and routines. The Hideout is worth the wait everyone, you will get a wonderful tool for a mentalist that has been deeply thought and fused over until it is near perfection. Any questions please feel free to PM me and ask and I will try to answer them for you guys. And thanks to Rick for once again coming out with another great addition to our craft. Ryan PS There was a Psi card in the package as well! more on this devastating device later tonight |

Well I received # 7 so I feel quite fortunate. I ordered the day they went up on the site (maybe the first hour )
I too am a big Outlaw fan. I have Luna-Magnum-The Witches' Almanac and a few more outlaw products. There really is not much more I can add, Deputy's review nailed it for me. Hideout is a devious design and a wonderful multi-function wallet as the ad says. This will also be my everyday wallet. I perform quite regularly and anticipate using Hideout at every gig. I'd like to say more but it would just be redundant. Number 3 beat me to it! Thank you Roth for coming up with another great product for us (did deputy already say that too?) Best John |

Can the wallet be shown empty like the Predator and/or Heirloom?
If so, I'm in! -J

I have used this wallet for two paid gigs so far, I love it. I have used it for the serial number divination and KK, this is a wonderful device, and it looks sooooo normal, none will suspect a thing, can't wait for everyone to start sharing some ideas on the Outlaw forum. When I am not at a gig I have Heirloom loaded in this bad boy ready to go great work Rick

If you're going to use Hideout as your everyday wallet (which is what it is designed for) and you know you're going to use it for carrying multiple effects, then you probably want to lose the receipts from the car wash, the old expired video cards and pictures of your ex-girlfriend. Keep it down to the necessities, it is after all serving two purposes, so act accordingly when deciding what to carry. Big bills would definitely be better than a bunch of singles (for us U.S. guys) not sure if you U.K. guys have small denomination bills there. A couple credit cards, some cash, your D.L. business cards, and your effects, and you'll be fine. RR |
