You walk up to a spectator in the street, you say pick a card, they do and they show it to their mate. You take it back and say watch closely as you throw the whole deck at the window ala David Blaine, everyone has seen it before and is scanning the window for their card but it's not there. Confused, the spec looks back at you, only to see a six foot mock up of their card staring back at them.
It's not over! The card is pointing at the window. The spectators look back at the window only to see you are stuck on the inside of the glass. Oh boy.

How will the spectator not notice the six foot mock card? Kind of mind boggling!

Not notice it, you mean before it appears? Well that's a secret. Its all in the misdirection.

LOL! This reminds me of something Paul Harris might've included in "Conversations From The Edge." I love weird creative thinking like this.
Thought: Why does man kill? He kills for food. And not only food: frequently there must be a beverage.

Funny you should mention PH, he is the greatest in my opinion and most of my ideas for routines come from his wacky thinking.

I do like your idea. It is very creative. I think you can pull it off. Let us know if you do it!
Humans make life so interesting. Do you know that in a universe so full of wonders, they have managed to create boredom. Quite astonishing.

Sounds awesome.
Do you know exactly how you are gonna pull it off?
Its not what you do, but how you do it.

I don't know about the big card thing, but it would be cool to do normal card through window, and then walk through the window to get the card back.
Or even causing the card to come BACK through the window might be a cool idea, after they've found that they can't get it. Worth a thought??? And Andy, you are one creative dude... I've read a few of your items on here... Paul would be either proud or jealous! |

Unless the effect is created in real world situations, what's the point in posting it?
It's like saying a spectator picks a card, signs it, goes in their kitchen, turns on the faucet and their card flows out. Have I done it? No! So, that's the point?

Andrew, we have to use psychology in magic and fun should never enter into it. A magician from California taught me that.

Funny you should mention a faucet because I was planning a gimmick where I could ask them if they wanted a glass of water and their card pops out into the glass.

The more thought you give to an idea, the more chance you can think of something usable. Often, one idea inspires another, and the best routines can come out of a ridiculous line in a note book. Also, it gives the brain something else to do aside from working out yet more mediocre variations of Dai Vernon's Triumph. Just some thoughts... |
