I have long enjoyed coin magic but only recently started playing with gaffed coins. I am just toying with some possibilities.
Does anyone know of any routines that combine gaffs. In particular I am playing with the expanded sh** along with the CSB gaff. One could talk about the influence the american economy has on international currency, or the american silver metalist wiping out their competition hmm (ie. internation coins can appear and disappear as well as transpose...) |

I've used an expanded Sh*** with the CSB set to vanish all the coins at the end of the effect since about 1974.

One of the first uses folks are likely to discover in their early explorations using the e] with the c/s/b is covering the odd side so you can show what looks like an ordinary half dollar on both sides. Not long after one might discover that one can leave the e] under the purse after that display and ring it in later for other changes- say in a routine that puts the regular c and b in the purse to start. Lots to play with there. Enjoy.
...to all the coins I've dropped here

Wow.
That is such an excellent idea. My only concerns being that the resulting coin seems really thick. Yet I suppose careful handling could cover that. I wondering if its because my set is really cheap... would love to see what a good csb set looks with a good fitting e] Does anyone notice or care if the silver coin in one location is always tails and in another location it is always heads. Will only seeing one silver coin in play be enough of a ruse to deceive the astute observer. I only say these things because CSB could be such a miracle if it is done slowly. Quickly may obscure some discrepancies like a 'head and tail' difference, but I feel some of the magic is compromised. I love playing with my 'ordinary' half dollar, thanks so much for pointing it out mr. townsend! |

This is what I've come up with, but not the smoothest thing you've ever seen
