Hi,
Has anyone got tips on tearing a balloon in two? I got Jeff Hobson's DVD where he tells you how to tear a balloon in two, but I found it really hard (wimp!! - actually, I'm not that weedy believe it or not!). I have qualatex 260 balloons. Jeff made it look really easy Thanks, Charlie |

It does take a bit of practice at first. It is pretty easy for me now. If the balloon is too soft, it is harder to do. Now that I think about it, break may be a better term or mindset for this instead of tear. All I do is twist the balloon 2-3 times where I want to break it, grab hold of the balloon with both index fingers and thumbs of each hand on either side of the twist, and pull rapidly in opposite directions. It should break cleanly with a bit of practice. Their may be a nack to this, but the best thing I can tell you is don't be shy, give the balloon a quick pull in opposite directions and don't pull slowly.
Good Luck Puggo...Let me know if that helped or not. Steve |

Top man Steve!
A bit of extra inflation, and a sharp tug made all the difference. I'll cancel that gym membership now! Thanks for the advice, Charlie |
