Hi everyone...
I'm interested in learning effects using a Zippo... can anyone help point me in the right direction? Also, can any kind of Zippo be used or does it have to be a specific kind?

There is a DVD called 50 Ways To Rock A Lighter - which is more or less tricky moves with an iconic Zippo lighter.

There is a gimicked Zippo called Serendipity - which is good for producing a signed coin or ring.

50 Ways to rock a Lighter is more of a flourish video but with a Zippo-style lighter instead of cards or XCM. It is a great addition to a zippo magic act like flourishing is to magic.

Serendipity is by Collector's Workshop and is precision made/ gimmicked from an originally classic Zippo. But bear in mind, the lighter is not seen right at the start fo the routine, if this makes a difference to you. Although, nothing stops you from showing the lighter first, doing Zippo tricks, putting away, then borrowing a signed coin or ring and taking out the Zippo again to produce the item.

If you are doing a card to Zippo, you need not need ot ahve a gimmicked Zippo if you employ a torn corner switch or use The Intercessor gimmick.

There are also different sized Zippos that you can find in novelty shops, from mini to Jumbo. This can be creatively used in a mulitplying/ growing Zippo routine.

Brad manual sells a product called "the heat is on" which is a zippo which can be used like a bill tube and you can make other thinks apear in the zippo like a ring or small coin
