There is a dice effect I would like to perform. Well, it says use four "small" dice and one "regular" die. Could someone tell me the "regular" dice size and the "small" size? Small die turns into a big die at the climax, so I am guessing the small one would have to be twice as short as the regular one. Since I don't perform dice effects yet, I don't really know what they mean by "regular". The dice I have range from 1.3cm - 1.6 cm.
And where on the Internet could I obtain those dice? Thanks.

Ok, looking around the web looks like 16mm is regular "standard" size and 8mm would be the mini size.
I need the dice to be custom painted - could I paint them myself? If so, what kind of paint will I need to use so it doesn't rub off? Or should I get them custom made?

Are you talking about making your own dice? Are you trying to make mis-spots?
Otherwise, a Google search returns a ton of places like this: http://dicepool.com/ Google is your friend.

It says "paint the dice", so I am thinking of buying dice and painting them the way described on wikiHow - http://www.ehow.com/how_4494894_make-custom-dice.html
16mm is standard size and 8mm is mini size, correct?

Here in the USA, casino perfects are 3/4 of an inch. A standard game dice with rounded edges are 5/8 of an inch.
(3/4) inches = 19.05 millimeters (5/8) inches = 15.875 millimeters
