I've been using a Samason Airline 77 Wireless Headset Mic. and I simply cannot say enough good things about it. There is no beltpack which means no wires to break or run down your jacket. etc. Everything is built into the mic. itself and boy does it rock!

I recently got this and I've been using it now for 3 weeks. I replaced the headset with a much smaller one and it does work fine for me, too.
I was worried because it rained and it got wet one time. Good thing it still worked and still does. It works with one AAA battery for 14 hours. That's much better than my Senheisser 9V battery beltpack.

I bought one about a year ago and was never able to use it in a performance.
The reason is the mic arm is too short! It would not reach to my mouth and because of that I would have to turn my gain up so high that it kept causing horrible feedback!

I used this MIC for 6 years and it was awesome. After about 500 shows it wore out and I was working a festival that coming weekend. I had to buy a new MIC in a pinch and ended up getting a Countryman E6 with a Sennheiser body pack transmitter and receiver. If they only made a combo of the two, small flesh color MIC with the Airline style transmitter.
