Does anyone know of a way to feed an iPod through some type of pre-amp that would lead to my main amp? I currently use an iCue2 system, and the signal coming from the iPod seems to be too puny to amplify it very loudly. Anyone else have this problem? How do you overcome it?

Thanks,
Chris

If you're using an iCue2, you should have NO PROBLEM! I have an idea what's going on with it, however. PM me, and I'll throw an idea to you!

I have an mIcue and have had the same problem when connecting into a high end mixing board. Make sure the volume on the ipod is at 100%, and also set the "volume" with the remote as high as you can go, then set the sound volume with the mixing board. You won't be able to change the sound volume from stage.

Hope this helps.

If you're using an icue2 I don't think it matters what the volume is of the ipod. the icue overrides it from what I remember. I don't have any problem with an ipod and the icue.

I'm not sure about the Ipod, but on my Sansa MP3 player there are two possible master volume settings -- Regular and Loud.

When I used the Loud master setting, I had no problems amplifying the signal through my PA system. SETH
