I wish I know what to do with my Perfect Holdout. It was on back-order for a few months, then came with a defective CD, and now I'm waiting on for a replacement
If any of you who has the holdout would be open to PM asking about the attachment, I'll be happy to hear from you. |

Had the fitch/kohler worked with it and sold it. Its a beautifully built piece of professional equipment. Though given the nature of how I perform and the misdirection I employ the holdout restricted too much of my body movements, hence I sold it. Though from a quality point of view, par none the best out there. Should I ever want to get into holdout work again, the FKH will be the way I go. However at the moment I am happy doing without.

All great information. I’ve been trying to decide between the Perfect Holdout and the Black Widow. The Perfect Hold Out it is. Glad to get the advice regarding the Invisible hand DVDs as well. I’ll be ordering both. Thanks everybody, you’ve saved me a lot of time and money.
Regards,

After considerable time and money spent, the best money spent was on the "Invisible Hand" DVD package and the best for me has been the Jack Miller, so simple and easy to make it your own, I had the BW and 3 others, some new and some used, the one I made myself from what I learned is great. Thank you all for such amazing insight and direction. Dave

I use the Trabucco hold-out. It gets my vote because:
a) Its easy to install/wear b) Natural movements in loading/unloading c) The DVD is very good and some nice props were also included (not sure if these are standard but I got 3 poker chips, nut and bolt) d) You can use both hands for vanishes and reappearances e) It was very cost effective (I got mine second hand for $75.00) I tried to use BW but found the set up was difficult and I felt movement was not natural. I can't comment on the others.

I think it really depends on the routine you are trying to use it for and what your attire is. The holdout I use most cost $8 and is very low tech.

I have had good success with the Black Widow. Some modification with the "delivery" and all worked out. Meets my needs. Consider your presentation and what works for you. cheaha bill

I've seen the Super M Hold-Out and I'm not impressed with it one bit. Being one to have seen many different hold-outs, I can honestly say the the SMH is much more limited than most other hold-outs on the market.
I've also noticed that on other forums it is not getting much positive reviews. Here is a thread started here at the Café'. When the questions got tough, George disappeared. http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......orum=109 Sure some of us were picking on him, but when you make outlandish claims in the advertising by saying it's by far the best hold-out on the market today you'll always get those who will challenge that. Then he exposes it and the Raven, and then shows disrespect to others who had a different opinion. |

I should also mention that if you have the Invisible Hand, you'll have no need for the Super magnet Hold-Out because The Invisible Hand is constructed in a way that it can do the same.

I am interested in Antonio Romeros "Perfect Holdout." If someone owns this, would you mind sending me a PM so I could ask a few questions?

I have a Perfect Holdout, and I really do like it, and the way it is designed, but I don't wear suits or sportcoats much, so have not used it NEARLY as much as I would like

A think this is a important advnace about the hold out:
"With the PHO plus the Perfect Hold Out works also horizontally. This opening the door to the kind of effects that are done with the Raven, the Bat, or with a magnetic ring". |
