Greetings Dove Lovers ,
Recently I shifted all my doves (Qty:5)from thier individual small cages to a bigger cage where all them can be together. The sad part was all the other 4 doves bullied 1 particualr dove named Mythili. They keep pecking on her head till 50% of her feathers are out and she is now looking like a bald monkey. Moreover , there are tiny blood spots on her head. I was shocked.I have bought a cage and seperated Mythili. She is eating as normal and sitting on the perch rather than sitting on the cage floor.Looks like she is fine.BUT my concern is , any ways where I can treat her head(with talcum powder) or I should let nature take its cause to heal. I seriously dun understand why the rest of the doves are bullying Mythili , the female dove. The rest of the doves are male and female. Any advice guys. Mythili is a obedient dove who has been in performance with me for **** bags and invisible *******. Best regards

This happens quite often. You are running into territorial problems. Usually it's the males that don't get along but in this case it sounds like the other doves have formed a "family" and Mythili is an intruder.
There isn't anything you need to do for her not that you've separated her to a new cage. Keep a eye on the blood spots. If they keep bleeding then you can put a little neosporin on her but just a little. If it's not bleeding anymore, nature will take it's course and heal the wounds. The feathers will grow back in but it takes a little time.

Thanks Dave.
Mythili is no longer bleeeding. Just tiny blood spots. Will wait for nature to take its course.

I too have 7 doves. Right now they are segregated into 3 different cages. I do have them out and they mix, but my hope is to get a very large cage and slowly have them all together.
The magic is not in our sleights and illusions, but instead in our ability to bring love and joy.
