I thinking about the Anticlimax in the last part of Traveling Cash/Tip.
When Dan saids after the effect: " Do yo wanna to the bill-Your fingers, go up to the ladder"? and rotate the hands. Its a funny gag, but for me its anticlimax, and make forgot the effect to the audience. What do you think about? bye!

Sometimes I do it, and sometimes I don't. But each time I do it, when the gag is over, I let the trapped rubberband hang from the bill they're still holding, and re-focus them on the effect with something like "but you notice how the rubberband is really trapped in your bill..."
I didn't really notice a significant difference in audience response due to presence/absence of the gag line. BUT, I wouldn't end without (unformally) refocusing on the effect. |

I can see why he did it this way as it allows you to show the bands openly after the effect, but I didn't like the timing either. If I were to perform it now I'd put the gag line just before the effect instead of after, keeping my fingers closed to conceal the "work."

Its good idea to put the gag before the effect ,and no after
