I have been out of the mix for a while. Dealing with a divorce so magic kinda took a side step, well now I'm getting back into it and I wasn't long enough where I'm rusty. But I'm looking for good One Coin routines, that do not necessarily end up with a Jumbo transposition. Also I like the coin under watch, coin off the top of the head and other finale's. Any elp would be great. More on the spot so I cant carry a Wine bottle around.

Plug for Tim Feher, He has a fantastic video download available at http://www.vinnymarini.com called one coin, nothing more. It is a collection of one coin routines.

John Bannon's One is the Onliest in Smoke and Mirrors is an excellent routine. Although it includes the production of a jumbo coin, that isn't the finale; it's done as a joke. The finale is much, much better. The finale, by the way, can be used with almost any single-coin routine.

David stone's one coin routine is very good it ends up with a jumbo but I'm sure you can change it to suit your needs

Very few can pull it off, but I will cite what I think is THE classic:
Slydini's One Coin Routine. Also, Bob Elliott has a killer one coin routine in his lecture notes. Just a couple of thoughts Best, Vlad |

You can't beat Roth's take on Slydini's One Coin Routine. It is one of the best. The lapel coin is a great idea, and when I'm casual I prepare my shirt collar or t-shirt sleeve to achieve the same thing. Don't like the jumbo coin ending? Well, it is not my cup of tea either (to me, jumbo coins scream "magic shop magician"). I came up with a different ending and so can you!

Slydini's coin routine is in The Best of Slydini and More which is where I got hooked on all his stuff. It's probably in the Annotated Slydini as well but the description in the Best of is unbeatable. But wait, the Annotated notes are improved, so go check them all out.
David Roth tells the story of how his coat went to the cleaner's and came back with the lapel coin still in place. Lucky accident. Mighty good foam carpet tape. P |
