Hello all,
I am looking for the name of the song from the beginning of Copperfield's dancing tie, the one which is just before the song "Angelina". On the link below it beguins at 1:30 from the beginning. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtgoCIUnVDk Thanks for your input, Soleil

It almost sounds like Michael Jackson's song "Man in the Mirror."

Why are people so lazy in they're quest for knowledge? Espesially in this digital age. Found in about 1:30 seconds of searching..... http://www.themagicofdc.com/
The song is Angelina and it's by Harry Belafonte. You can download a lot of the "music" of David Copperfield on this site. Hope this helps. All the best, John |

Any chance anyone knows the name of the first song in this clip?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8fSBEhSvA14 The one that starts at about 2:46, also just before the Angelina song? |

Gerrit and Illusionz, I'm very sorry to tell you that the song is not Michael Jackson's éMan in the Mirror", even not a little bit.
The song is called "Dggin In" and is track 8 on the movie soundtrack "Fletch" composed by Harold Faltermeyer. John 1964, I do agree with your statement. If somebody is really passioned by something he's willing to search on his very own and not being lazy and simply ask others. Specially today, where you can find anything on internet. Oliver. |

Johnny,
So there must be a misunderstanding, because I was talking of the first version in his TV special. Sorry for this. Oliver. |

I don't know, Oliver / John 1964. I think you're being a little harsh. I mean, it's a magic-related question. Sure, it may be somewhat obscure, but it's still magic related. And this is a forum for magic-related questions. Seems perfectly valid to me.
There aren't THAT many websites devoted to the soundtrack to David Copperfield's shows, ya know. ;-) -Marc |

I have a question in regards to this routine. At one point, the tie uses a straw to drink from a glass. Where can I find a diminishing milk/liquid glass, bottle, etc. that actually works? I have searched this thread and tried several items, the evaporating milk bottle, ghost bottle to name a few, and they are junk in my oppinion. Anyone have any suggestions? I don't do a tie routine, I want one for a puppet type stuffed animal. Thanks!

I had never seen the Dancing Tie routine before. Is this routine or any part of it commercially available? I am aware of the Celebri-Tie routine done behind the back.
Thanks for the post. |
