When I first heard about this show I wondered how a street/TV magician would translate to the Vegas stage. Time will tell, but for someone with artistic control, and for $100 million, it doesn't look like he's done a lot of work yet.
I don't know that much about Vegas but I do know the preview period is for ironing out the bugs in the act. Surely you're supposed to get to this point with a functional set that needs fine tuning ready for the opening night? I'd have thought that the only really big job is rehearsing the house technical crew. Do they still "whack" people in Vegas? |
