I was just watching the demo of the floating table. Is it just me, or does it seem like a normal candle would tip over if it were just setting on a table that is moving all around?

It's called the "Beginner Table". It's $500 + $100 for anti-gravity box. |

I didn't see an option for a case with the Beginner's Table. Is there a case available and if so, how much extra?

I love to use in performace the 500 dollar table and maybe in a few years upgrade, less time if at all possiable. but of course if the illusion is that much worse with the beginner table... I guess its not worth it? |

Joshua,
I don't think that is the case. In my opinion, the basic table looks more like a typical table the then the more ornate expensive ones. But I think you are looking to hear from Jason Baney not me.

Of course you can perform with the basic table. The difference is it is smaller in size and simpler in design. Will the illusion be as strong as floating a larger one, well I'd say no, but it will be good. Also the more you practice and understand the concept, motivation, and technique the more your performance will improve. That is another reason to buy a basic one, to gain the experience, build up the muscles you need, etc. Given that and the $500 price tag which can be used towards an upgrade, you've got nothing to lose if you always wanted to do the effect.

Hi guys,
Quick question about the "beginners table". Does it come with the same training videos as the full version? This seems a little like what Sean Bogonia has offered in terms of selling his insturctional DVD's for an amount which will be deducted from the equipment, once purchased. Insures that the discs don't just get out there killing the effect but also gives people a chance to see what they're paying one or two thousand dollars for and if it will be for them in their style! Thanks Dirk Losander. THis is a great addition in response to the cheap versions out there. I wish I had know about this a few months ago before I purchased a terrible version for $400 with a simple piano wire gimmick that is "left of happy!" on the purchase Thanks again, Doug |

The beginner table looks great - looks a lot like the basic table but with different "feet"...
I figured that the table had to be done with thread work (as much of his work is), but with that dang gravity box I was completely at a loss as to the method. When I first bought a floating table, the ad I read said, "No thread, no wires, no zombie gimmicks." I noticed I don't see this anymore (I haven't looked a lot) because this, while true I guess, is misleading. That being said, I noticed that the excalibur metal table is only around $1000... I think it looks nice.

I got am Excalibur table recently. It's very nice! I'm glad that I got one of his tables. The same week I ordered mine a friend tried to sell me a cheap floating table and 1/3rd the cost. After seeing my friends table and the Losander table I'm glad that I got the Excalibur.
He's pretty easy to get a hold of on email. Send him a note and ask if he still gives the upgrade credit. His email from his website is losander@mac.com |
