Hey everyone,
I've been reading a lot of hype about a routine DC performed live, in which he would link borrowed rings from spectators. Does anyone know where I could find a video of this routine, or if it is available for sale anywhere--or even what it is called? Thanks,

-Josh

Get the Linking Finger Rings DVD from http://www.stevensmagic.com Then after you realize it is a miracle that you must do... don't mess with an old fashioned Himber Ring. Go to http://www.porperoriginals.com and get the Ghostly Linking Finger Rings. (Blatant plug from its creator)!!!

Pete Biro, thanks for the advice and information. I've never seen a trick like this before, although the closest thing would have to be Cyril's linking life savers, which is an incredible effect.

Is it the same as linking mints?

For years now, Nick Lewin in Las Vegas has turned the humble Himber Ring into a twenty-minute Miracle of entertainment, mirth, and whole lots of mystery.

He roams the showroom, and makes what is often a close-up piece into a huge stage production, people laugh and ultimately jaws drop.

It just shows what showmanship and personality can bring with a bit of creativity and cheek. He has made a solid reputation with the linking finger-rings, and it has become a signature piece.

Here is an early clip with just a taste of Nick:

Lewin's routine is as good as it gets. One other of note was the late Bruce Cervon's handling. Al Koran featured it as well. One of the best audience reactions I ever saw to the effect although poorly done, technically, but netted TWO STANDING OVATIONS... and that was at University of California, Berkeley, by KRESKIN.

Another superb version, using the Porper ring (which I designed) is done by Lu Chen, in China, and can be seen at http://www.petebiro.com
