Such a genius device. I have a set of 8 metal ones to go with my Marvel comic glasses, but how come we don't see these things around a lot? I love sporks!

A few Taco Bells still have them.
In my opinion, they are the best way to go at an enchirito.

I carry a spork when I go backpacking. Between that and my camp knife I have all the utensils I need.
I hope there is a special place in heaven reserved for the inventor of the spork.

MagicMattMan,
Thanks for posting the link! Neat sit!
Our friends don't have to agree with me about everything and some that I hold very dear don't have to agree about anything, except where we are going to meet them for dinner.

Isn't it? I have so much stuff from this site. They remind me of my old spiderman action figures, you play with it for a week then it sits on the shelf. Except for my 8-bit ties, and my sporks and my miracle fruit tablets, ok... I use most of it... all of it.

Sporks must be made of plastic and not work well as either a spoon or a fork. The fork tines must be cut deeply enough into the spoon bowl so that the spoon leaks, and said tines must be so short, wide, and blunt as to be incapable of skewering anything.
That 'spork' linked to above, the one with a spoon on one end and a fork on the other, is not a spork at all.

Tom- you're welcome
Airship- it still qualifies as a Spork being that it is half Spoon and half Fork (spooon+fork=spork). Its a portmanteau-word.

MagicMattMan- true, it's an improvement on the design. Much safer than my failed invention, the Knoon. That was rather painful for my test subjects; though I keep telling them some chicks dig those joker-style scars...
I don't see how a combination knife-edged spork would work, though- if you've got all three utensils on one tool, what do you use to hold your food in place while you cut it? (And if you say "your fingers" then why are you bothering with a fork bit in the first place?) -Erik

I believe the knife part is for softer foods that are usually found on a camping trip. I wouldn't find myself using this to cut a steak with.
Also, you could use two of them at a time
