My beloved found these for me last night in a local Vietnamese $2 shop. They're made of the same sort of light plastic that ping-pong balls are made from, and each of them is ultra-realistic and just over an inch wide. I can easily palm two at a time for a final load. I'm going back there; apparently they have small apples and pears as well.

There are some interesting halloween items available, also, such as Jack'o'Lanterns.

They're a lot of fun, especially when I can have TWO of the little fruits appearing from under each cup at the end. Jack'o'Lanterns would be a novel twist too.
