Is anyone familar with or have a W wallet? My understanding is that it is used for a card switch and unlike the Z wallet, it opens in the same direction the second time. If you have one or have seen one, please post your opinion of it.

You could describe my wallet as a W see http://www.peterscarlett.com/Magic_Suppl......_58.html
There are many reviews in the Café, just search for Pimpernel Notecase. |

I've never seen one in person but they're supposed to be good.
Someone sent me pictures of one to make for them and I realized it was Peter's commercial product, and refused the work. I like the design. One's for sale in the Let's Make a Deal section.

I've been hoping these would show up either at Denny's or at Barry's, as I would like to get a look at one "in person".
I'd love to get a wallet that's gaffed for miracles and can still be used as a real-world wallet. The trouble is, I am fussy about wallets in general, even ungaffed ones, and even more so for magic ones. Also, I have always been tough on wallets, and I have to be convinced, given the substantial investment this represents, that this wallet will hold up under day-to-day use. Anyway, hopefully I can get a look at one soon, since there is considerable buzz going on about this one. Don

This wallet is not really a wallet. It is more of an I.D. wallet. It does not work "exactly" like the Pimpernell. It is very well made. To me, it is almost a copy of the Horwitz Wallet. Only the "W" is better made and flatter.

"The New York Papers," Mark Twain once said,"have long known that no large question is ever really settled until I have been consulted; it is the way they feel about it, and they show it by always sending to me when they get uneasy. "
