Its works best if you pretend that the ball is your wife's lover.

I saw Aldo Colombini lecture last night at Barry's Magic Shop in Rockville, MD. He said his one of his goals is to get through life without ever playing golf.
I'm pretty much a golf addict. A few years ago I played 54 holes in one day with Barry for a charity golf outing in the middle of summer. Swore I'd never do it again. I reconsidered and did it again this past summer. Lots of fun, lots of sore muscles. |

The most I’ve ever played is 36 and by the last nine I was playing so bad I quite keeping score. Was that on a par 4 course? How many hours did it take you?
Our friends don't have to agree with me about everything and some that I hold very dear don't have to agree about anything, except where we are going to meet them for dinner.

I'll tell you why I don't golf anymore.
About 3 years ago, I was supposed to meet a few friends at the course at 7 AM sharp. Well, I was the only one that didn't check the forecast. As I was pulling into the lot, the heavens opened and down it came. After waiting about 15 minutes, I left. When I got home, I found my girlfriend still asleep. I decided if I'd crawl back in bed and try some "indoor golf". As I got undressed and curled up behind her I kissed her neck and she made a soft little cooing noise. "Oh baby, it is so cold and nasty out there today" I said. She replied, "Yeah, and can you believe my dumb@$$ boyfriend went golfing?" Ever since that day, it's strictly pingpong. |

Played the first two rounds from the blue tees and the third round from the whites. Shotgun start at 5:50 am and we finished up around 8:15 pm just as it was starting to get dark. Lunch was served on the run while we were playing - no stops allowed! Plenty of refreshments on the course to keep hydrated. Cgscpa,
Wow! Thanks so much for posting the link. I read everything on the Solstices Survival site. I don't think I could handle it but it sounds like a greater than great golfing experience. I saw there where some high handicappers that swam with the sharks too and did all right. It is certainly something to think about. Tom
