Hey guys,
watching Josh's 1 man show clip when he done a 1 cup routine with a mini light bulb, re-appeared a few times, then big light bulb, then lifted the big foam cup which fitted as a lamp shade as the bulb lit. Anyone seen this and done it, or is it customized only for Jay? Cheers, Barry

If I am not mistaken this is Joshua's routine that he developed for his one-man show. To my knowledge, it has not been marketed or made available for others to perform.

It's just a reminder that perhaps the most important thing in a performance is not your fancy cups, wand and balls that you spent hundreds or thousands of dollars on. The most important things are your personality and creativity. Anyone here ever see Steve Bedwell's chop cup routine? It uses a baseball cap, headphones from a walkman and a stack of cassette tapes as a final load. It makes one thing, "Finally, a routine that makes sense!"

It is on Steve Bedwell Taped Vol 1 and I think it is now on DVD from Meir Yadid.
The routine is fantastic and does not use anything Chopped. His misdirection is phenominal and even when you know what is happeneing it still will fool you most of the time...your sense of timing must be impecable. DC you are correct that Joshua has noit marketed it yet. Josh used various ideas from several routines to come up with this unique idea. Good job too. Mobius |
