Book 2 is probably of the same caliber. Recently iI fooled a math teacher (university level) with one of the effects from Card College Light. It was an inexplicable experience for the academic guy. And, its selfworking. Fun. |

I have the new card college lighter book.
and there are a number of effects that are very good. some are versions of effects that can be found in other books of self workers but some are new and novel for experienced magicians there are a few that you might learn and use for those impromptu situations, novices will probably use more from the book. Im not ging to review every routine in the book but from memory There are 2-3 four ace productions, (1 is very nice) These are sometimes combined with a "find a card" or "triumph" There are at least 2 effects that are 'mentalism' effects that essentially discover the total number of a group of cards taken from the deck and hidden There are a couple of poker deal effects. There are a couple of Gag effects both based on old prinicples and topological card effect that reveals 4 kings. Overall I would say that this is a useful book from which to learn a few good quick card effects but they not earth shattering in terms of methodology. The author provides plenty of tips as to how to get the most from them presentationally |
