Hey Mike, excuse my ignorance, what's the black deck? Can it kill cats?

The Black Deck is the Black Tiger Deck...the all knowing all seeing Deck of Decks of which has spawned a million and a half new baby HIGH PERFORMANCE decks of cards.

If thrown properly cards from the black deck CAN hurt cats.

I suppose you're a dog person, spatlind.

There is a distinct personality difference between dogs and cats. Dogs hang on your every word, without even understanding what you're saying. They're dependant upon you, clingy, and needy.

Cats are independant. In fact, they would probably happily kick you out of the house and have the locks changed- if only they could figure out how to work the can opener.

Exactly!!

But really, I (or rather we) have a cat. I don't believe in having a dog unless you have the space for one, or are willing to commit to walking it every single day. I grew up breeding Dobermen and Boxers, and am keenly aware of the needs of a dog. It saddens me to see how dogs are treated as some sort of accessory, but there you go...

I like dogs and cats. I have cats on the property and they keep the rodents down, they are all over and the wife wants them DEAD! She is like that. I'm pals with 'em even if they don't come near me....they steal magic tricks though.

I have in the house five dogs. My main dog is a yorkie, her dog is a bassett hound. My wife has a friend who lives on my couch and he got a dog which he ignored horrible (kept it pinned on the couch as a pup and wouldn't let it play with my yorkie, took it out in the car on 100 degree days and left it for hours) so I took it over and now that is my dog. So he prances out, yes, prances, and gets two toy yorkies which he treats like purses. So I took them over but they are still his...he ignore them unless he is going to visit a friend and wants to carry one around.

I like goats.

Okay...I'm officially a dog person. Outside cat came in and like usual I figured I'd let it out once the thing got tired of running around. Lil mo fo stole a steak! I found the cat at one end of it and the bassett at the other end licking it.

I prefer clay targets...can't get a cat to sit on the launcher long enough.

Cheers!

PS. I have dogs!

I'm definately a cat, dog, bunny and other animal person. Too many to list them all who share my peaceable special needs/senior rescue. These guys were adopted by me when all avenues to find them a forever home were exhausted.

The cats: Daisy, Asia, LG, Paris, Sable, Petunia, Roger, Dusty and Mickey. If you're counting that's nine (didn't include the dogs, bunnies and other critters at this time.) I will some day wear purple, swear at kids and spit on the sidewalk and otherwise be known as a crazy cat lady.
Ha! Just realized I'm already wearing purple in my avatar...egads..already happening!

Mickey's story is really touching and after I saw the You Tube Vid I contacted the woman who was responsible for saving him and today is the anniversary when he came to live with me! You wouldn't recognize him today as he's a fat healthy pampered house pet.
