Hi Guys.
I just thought I would let everyone know that the trailer for my new DVD I now online. The DVD is currently available to pre-order from http://www.worldmagicshop.co.uk and for everyone in the States should be available any day now to preorder on the World Magic Shop USA site which is http://www.worldmagicshop.com. The DVD is a collection of routines with blank cards. There are 10 routines all together and the DVD comes with all the Blank cards needed for £15. I have copy and pasted the advertising copy below and a direct link to the trailer but if anyone has any questions just let me know! Thanks Craig LINK TO TRAILER http://www.worldmagicshop.co.uk/blank-cr......677.html ADVERTISING COPY Blank is a collection of some of the most powerful card effects you have ever seen all of which use blank cards in some capacity. Al the routines are commercial and practical - each and every effect has been tried, tested and perfected in the real world under the toughest conditions imaginable. From packet tricks to full deck routines there is something on this DVD for everyone. Included on this DVD is a full explanation of Face Off, the routine that Craig has used to close his close up card set for years and is a real magician fooler. As a special bonus all the blank cards that you need to perform these effects have been included in with the DVD. Now there really is no excuse to start learning these routines immediately. Misprint - Possibly the most visual packet trick you will ever see. Four cards blank on both sides become printed in slow motion. First the back print one by one and then the faces. At the end of the routine the cards become blank again and then vanish into nothing. Face Off - The routine that has become an underground sensation. Probably the cleanest version of Anniversary Waltz you will ever see. Two signed cards fuse together into one card whilst in the spectator's hands. As an added bonus this is a total magician fooler. The Spade Trick - A signed card is lost in the deck. A double blank card prints front and back to match the spectator's card. Strong visual magic with a kicker nobody will see coming Mistique - A table hoppers dream. Everything is examinable before and after and this routine can be performed anytime, anywhere. A signed card gets replicated four times until the magician has four duplicates of the signed card. To end the magician proves that everything was an illusion and the signed card has been in his pocket from the beginning. Speed Camera Cards - This routine is what you get when you combine a clever plot, great visuals and a killer presentation. A multi phase sandwich routine that delivers kicker after kicker right in front of the spectators eyes. A real reputation maker. Wild Blank - Four blank cards are shown and in the blink of an eye change to match a card selected from a deck. This routine hits them hard. Doctor Who Card Trick - If you perform for children close up this one routine is worth its weight in gold. Adults and children love the plot and the ending of the routine creates an impossible object that everyone cannot help but to be blown away by. BONUS ROUTINES Wipeout -Four cards are named and removed from a deck and then turn completely blank front and back. This is followed with the rest of the deck turning blank in slow motion in the spectator's hands. The best part? No rough and smooth and an instant reset. Back To The Factory - This is a reputation making effect that will leave your audiences stunned. A killer version of the Brother John Hammond Dream Cards plot, the routines delivers magical moment after magical moment right up to the ending where the entire pack turns blank and is instantly examinable. Clone Card - Three cards are chosen and one by one a blank card magically changes to match the selections. For the finale the magician attempts to clone the entire deck with hilarious results. |

I have seen all this material first hand and it looks great. Really commercial and very strong. Face off fooled the hell out of me when I first saw it & is worth the price of the DVD on it's own.
Reccomended Russell |

I'm very intrested in this Craig and I have been looking at a routine using a double blank (face and back) deck for a while. The only person up to this point that seemed to have done any work on it was Aldo Colombini.

Craig,
Despite being on a 'magic buying ban', and trying to avoid gaffed cards, I will pre-order this. The routines seem to have a good plot and be interesting, and £15 - That seems mighty good value. Grrr! I better stick some stuff on ebay! Charlie |

Thanks Charlie,
I really appreciate you ending your 'buying ban' for Blank. To be honest £15 for a 2 1/2 DVD and all the gaffs that you need seems like a good price to me (but then again I am biased). Craig |

Craig, I am definitely picking this up either way but I was wondering, I notice a few effects use a blank deck. Is the blank deck included for these two effects or is it not because they are bonus effects?

Hi Nico.
Thanks for your interest. As you pointed out there are a couple of routines that require a full pack of blank cards in order to perform. Rather than supply a full pack of blank cards (which would have led to the price for the DVD being considerably higher) we decided to put these on as bonus effects. Both of these routines are KILLER and I wanted to make sure they were put on the DVD but at the same time I wanted to price to be affordable by everyone. The cards you get with the DVD can be used to perform all the other effects (including Clone Card which is also a bonus item). I hope this helps answer your questions and once again thanks for your support. Craig |

Not being a card guy Craig had to force me to sit down and watch this, glad he did though cos there is some great material here. As always it's very commercial stuff, I can't recall a table being needed for example. Face off almost makes me want to start doing card stuff ( have a mini inner battle going on now, not sure which side will win ) Only real complaint is that it is too cheap. £15 for 10 effects with 2 and a half hours of filming and all the gaffed cards, just doesn't seem right somehow. I hope people don't under value it. If you have liked Craig's previous releases then this will not disappoint either, highly recommended.

Alright Craig, thanks. Ill pick this up in a few days along with a blank deck as I am sure I will use the routines . As Ethan said, this DVD is cheap. Knowing your stuff, Craig, its top quality.

When I watched the promo clip for this, it just shouted out "entertainment!", which is why I have already preordered. The Dr. Who and 'speeding ticket' theme look to be really engaging. The problem I have now is the 'impatient kid' syndrome as I wait for my delivery, trying to calculate in which of my December gigs I may be able to try out some of the routines...
I am starting to reconsider the hefty £15 price tag. Craig, is there any chance you could give away a free new car (or perhaps pay off the purchasers mortgage) with every preorder?!! Charlie |

I would hate to go up to a group of people and tell them to pick a card, I need to give them a reason to do so. This does not mean every trick needs to be a Sam The Bellhop style story routine but I think every effect needs to have an interesting hook. I probably spend as much time thinking of hook lines as I do actually tricks. The speed camera premise is great because everyone hates them and knows what they are (even kids). The actually routine I use it in works really well as each phase builds but due to how it is constructed I can leave phases out if I want and go straight to the end (which is perfect for restaurants. As for the Dr Who routine - I am a huge Doctor Who fan. I even have a huge scarf like the 4th doctor (yes I am a Sci-Fi geek!). On both sides of the Atlantic the programme has become really popular with kids thanks in part to David Tenant and as such the Dr Who card trick is worth its weight in gold. If you perform in a family restaurant this is something you will use again and again. The best part is how the routine is contructed it can be adapted to any sort of pop culture fad (I talk about how to do this on the DVD). As for the price I thought about offering to pay peoples mortgages off but the guys at World Magic Shop just wouldn't go for it!!!! But I did want to keep the price really low - I want to make sure my magic is affordable by everyone. Thanks again for everyones interest and any other questions just let me know Craig |
