From what I saw of Blaine's work a month or so ago, his DL looks exactally like Steve Draun's "Stud Two-Card Pushoff Lift" from his book "Secrets Draun From Underground."

The technique even has an "out" in case you miss and push over 3 cards instead of two - which I have seen Dave do once or twice.
