Friday night I did a show for a local group. I was about a third of the way in when I got a signal to cut short. Their presentations and speakers ran long and they had to be out by 9:30.

So I cut my act short and did not get to Silk 2 egg as planned. When I changed back stage I forgot to take the EGG out of my pocket. Smile The jacket went into the garment bag w/ everything else and tossed into the truck. Needless to say, the egg broke. Smile

I dropped the jacket off at my favorite dry cleaners and they said they would take care of it. Of course they know why I have several tuxes and have found things in the pockets in the past. They did tell me they were glad that I told them about this rather than letting them find out on their own. Smile

Moral of story: Always Check Your Pockets when taking off costume!!!! Smile

Another tip, don't snap your fingers while holding a palmed egg in the same hand. Went right up my nose.

Well I top that story:

Last year's talent show for school the egg to silk was my opener (what was I thinking?)

Anyway, the night show was fine, but the day show (in front of the entire school) I had an eggspereince. I bent over to pick a dropped prop up, and about a second later felt a wet spot on my leg, and I knew I hadn't peed myself. Yes, the egg cracked. It smelled, it was obvious and it was awful.

What did I do? I went on with the show not mentioning it. THen went off stage and laughed... the best gift is to laugh at yourself.

You guys are dangerous with a smooth round egg. Imagine the danger a sharp instrument would be!

You could wear rubber boots!

Lucy thinks she may be the leader of the pack on this. Since Christmas, she has broken three real eggs in her pocket.

Eggsasperating!
