Hey Adam. Great to have you here.
I was wondering what your inspiration is for what you create. I bought your original version of stained glass a while ago in a magic shop and was wondering "Hmm, Must have taken him forever to come up with something like this". Then Frozen, What was your inspiration and motivation to coming up with something like this. -Mark Tirone |

There's always a "bam" moment when I create something. Inspiration hits and it comes fast. I get inspiration from my dreams... like in the case of Stained Glass. When I awoke from my Stained Glass dream, I was like, "If this works I've got the wackiest thing ever!" It took shape over the next few days with the help of Aaron Fisher and Chris Korn and Lee Asher. Then I routined it and performed it for a year before releasing it.
I also get ideas from watching TV, movies, art, you name it. I never set out to create I just let it come to me. Frozen came by accident at first. Then it was thousands of dollars of work and many hours of headaches. trial and error. back to the drawing board. etc. etc. But nonetheless, Frozen came from experimenting with things in the wrong way. That should be a good lesson for all of us. When the directions say, "Don't do this!"... DO IT. Thanks for your comments. |

When reading your post, your effect "Death Breath" came to mind.
Care to share a little about the inspiration for this one?

Death Breath was an accidental discovery. That "bam" moment happened and within 5 minutes I had worked backwards to the beginning.
Then, I showed it to all the guys around the Castle and took suggestions from people like R. Paul Wilson. A year later I put it out. Do you own the trick? |

Adam,
Yes I do. Definitely outside the box thinking on this item, with the 5 different effects offered. A package of breath mints and a deck of cards, pretty neat. Never heard of the Mini Death Breath. I purchased mine some years ago. http://www.adamgracemagic.com/Pages/deathbreath.htm
