Catch of the weekend (among other things): a XVII/XVIIIth century Thai (?) amulet of a carved tiger tooth. In Thailand, it seems to be called Khiao Suea and is a protective charm against evil spirits of the forest and wild animals.
The amulet comes from one one the top chinese amulet collection in the world... I've already a basic synopsis for a nice bizarre scenario (shades of Kipling, Mowgli, Shere Khan...) but I need more info about that kind of item. If someone knows better, it will be helpful. |
