It's David Charvet's 10 Second Table. You'll find it at his website: http://www.charvetmagic.com

I personally call them pretty ugly and clunky…
But I strongly feel the table should also be a stage-setting, befitting the persona, theatricality, and flavor of the act, as well as being practical, and above all… look like a real-life table not some odd gizmo. My unpopular two-cents, Walt |

That table is one of the ugliest things I have ever seen on stage. It looks like it should be the container for the table.
If you get one of these things, have someone make a slipcover for it, so you can at least disguise the fact that it is an ATA case.

If I had one I'd have a form fitting, simple, plain cloth cover. Look at what Fred Kaps used.

It comes in different colors too.
thanks for the suggestions guys. This table is a good travel case and table. I have just had so many bulky boxes in the past that I am looking into other things. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Thanks. Best Brandon

I've used the "suitcase type" table my whole career. They are great but don't last forever. I am seriously considering getting one of these because they are made really well. I just need to determine if my show will fit. They are really nice.

I am in the same boat as you...
I have used that same suitcase table and it is just so bulky and it doesn't look like a table at all. Also the new deluxe versions you can get in different colors.

I have used the joe leffler table for years and years I sell them off after 1000 shows or so as that is all they last at least for me. I travel with them alot.
anyway they are the best suitcase table out there in my opinion. velcro friendly and with my unique additions to it make it perfect for all situations. keep in mind every table has its strengths and weaknesses. unless you have one custom made you will always have to modify it some way to meet your needs. I do a manipulation act and I have a special table made just for that act however when I travel and not doing my illusion show, I need to leave it home so I came up with ways to add an open top table to the leffler table and it works perfect. I show up with just one suitcase table and can do a 60 minute stage show for an audience of 500. again just my opinion. I too have seen that other table up close and I will say this its neat but not what I want in my show as it has limitations to what you can store in it. leffler also makes a smaller size suitcase table which also has come in handy. good luck sam
