Barry has listed quite a few instant downloads on his web site (12 or 13 when I looked last)tesching a wide variety of closeup routines using cards, coins, bills, pens, etc.
He has proced them at 9.99 each, and the ones I have seen are a bargain. Some are Barry's routines for standard tricks, others are his original creations. I have seen three of them, and all three are thoroughly taught, with lots of ideas for presentation and varied endings. Barry teaches all sleights used in very thorough detail, showing the moves clearly with enough repetitions to keep you from wearing out your pause button. The three I have seen so far are: "Larry West's Passing the Buck-" Barry teaches his handling of this money counting routine, in which 4 tens get counted first as $80, then each time they are counted the bills change untill you have a 10, 20, 50 and 100 dollar bill. (You can also make this up with a 1,2,5 and 10, if you like. Times being what they are, that's what I'm doing!) Barry's "Impossible Monte" is a startling 3 Card Monte routine with a Magician vs. Gambler theme, and eye-popping visual changes. Barry's "East meets West" is a transposition routine in which two Silver Dollars change places with two Chinese coins, one at a time. (You can use any combination of copper and silver coins you prefer, but Barry teaches it with the coins mentioned above)None of the coins are gimmicked, and the handling is very simple and very clearly taught. Barry says this routine was inspired by an impromptu John Kennedy routine with pennies and quarters, and it can be performed that way, but the bigger coins really do create great visual impact. Also, Barry likes to end with a production of two jumbo coins. These routines are worth the price as stand-alone tricks, but the wealth of sleights, moves counts, and handling tips makes them worth a lot more. I like them just for the wealth of jokes-only-Barry-can-get-away-with, as well as one of the best collections of Hawaiian shirts I have seen. Check these out! Don

If you're ever in the Washington, DC area (Maryland suburbs, to be exact), Barry's Magic Shop is one of the best! Great staff, great selection, all owned by a wonderful magician. Don't miss it if you're in the area...

I neglected to mention in the post above, Barry does have these available on DVD if you want to pick any of them up while you are in the shop, but if you are too far away to get there, just download them. Barry said he decided to offer them that way specifically to get away from shipping them.

I gotta agree with everything that has been said about Barry and his material. He and his wife are also some of the nicest people I have ever known. Barry is a real pro with a heart of gold. If you get a chance check out his stuff and if you are in town stop by the shop and see Frankie the Wonder Dog.
