Ok, so who/what is your favorite ventriloquial character of all time?
For me....without a slight hesitation...Mortimer Snerd. Anyone else? |

I'm a Marshall lover and of the Marshall figures you just can't top the Nosey figure so for me it is Jerry Mahoney.

Walter. I love Charlie, Mort, Jerry and all the old school characters, and in fact that's what I use exclusively, a cheeky boy type. But I wish I had created Walter. Who else (human or puppet)could have told Carson "It'll be a cold day in hell before I come back here" and gotten invited back? What a great character.

I'd have to say my favorite character is David Strassman's "Chuck". I absolutely love the attitude that Strassman gives him. (And I realize he's not for everybody - but I like him!)

I like Walter and Strassman's Chuck. I guess I gravitate toward nasty characters.
I now have to sit down and think about what that says about me. B |

Mine would be Jeff Dunham's Peanut. His Neurotic character and antics never fail to make me laugh.

Hmm... this is hard. Very hard.
I'm going to say, Jeff Dunham's Walter, and Ron Lucus' Scorch. Scorch is great, and Walter will be a classic. That's just my favorite, I'd like to hear others!

That is such a hard question to answer. I love Achmed, but he is not perhaps as timeless as some other characters. I've also seen much more of David Strassman than any other vent, so my vote goes to Ted E. Bare. "He hit me, Daeve"

Mortimer Snerd. Look at those good natured laughing eyes! Unsurpassed character design and Bergan's delivery.
