When you buy gaffed coins they last a long time, unless they're abused. Its nearly always worth getting the better set. In other words: Follow Shawn's advice.

Johnsons are very good... I will toss out a compliment on Tango - they are ALMOST as good as johnsons.
The only bad thing abotu Tango is the instructions are very broken english. The coing gaffs are excellent. We carry both - well only Tango right now as we wait for our Johnson restock...
