Load a red silk in the box beforehand and put the ball in, open the box while blowing and the red silk will flutter out. It is a beautiful prop they give to you with the trick I personally would use it.

I just bought a used S-O-S set and I love it! Can't wait to add it to my act. I'm going to use it to replace my 20th Century Silks effect in version 2.0 of my show (I'm making a parallel show for repeat audiences). And I LOVE the idea of hiding a silk inside the box, opening it and blowing out the silk and having it float down to the floor.
BTW, I showed my wife the trick. She was amused by it. I vanished the ball in the box and she was amazed by it. "I really like that part", she said. |

I have been using Stratosphere in my perfprmance for the last 5 years now and as a matter of fact, I did it just yesterday in every show.
It is a great trick for the children , with all the laugh , shouting and screaming, even the adults gets caught up in the moment. No need to use a fancy vanish, it's the presentation the counts and not the vanishing of the ball.I use a change nag to vanish the ball. Tricky Ricky |
