Wow I havn't seen this thread in months lol. That cin off ribbon trick, I don't think my little pinky can get into that hole lol. It looks just a little bit bigger than the ribbon which is probably tiny. I have a coin in the mail, thanks for everything guys!

Mark, you should take Scott up on the $7 offer. Besides just a hole, the jagged edge will give it a nice appearance instead of just a hole.

I completely understand where you are coming from but for the routine I do, It reguires just the hole because I based the routine around "how porous the coin is" lol. I apparently open up the hole so they can see. Plus, the coin I have now is perfect because the inside was really grinded open, so I end the routine but twisting my finger around inside it and then it gives it the illusion of my grinding the hole open even more with my finger.

Yea, I see your point with that routining. But for those out there doing a standard Karate type coin effect, you cant beat that jagged look.

I would recomend the ragged coin mainly if you were planning on doing only one penetration. It is so much easier though to do a routien such as Curtis Kam's Through and Through with the gimlet though because you have to get it on and off your finger quickly and smoothly. But for a routine like Gary Norsigian's spellbound, it looks much better to use the ragged coin. It is even better sometimes to use the ragged coin for a powerful closing, rather than using one of those jumbo coins that everybody seems to have and recognize as the novelty coin they had when they were a kid. But yea, I might pick one up. How do you accept payment?
