I'm a New Jersyan but I remember Frenchman, Philippe Petit doing this.

I also remember in 1977, George H. Willig The Human Fly climbed one of the towers.
Amazing stuff.

Was that '77? Wow. I remember talking to Shooter at Marvel about that. He said they were concerned about the guy being dressed as Spider-Man, if he'd fallen it would have played 4311 with their franchise! (Jim was always a caring guy!)
