I just thought of an idea where spectator's money can be used with Extreme Burn. I thought I would share it with you. The magician shows three one dollar bills. He asked the spectator for two more. Add the two bills to the three and do the routine. The only problem is the spectator is going to want their two bills back in a larger value too.

Doing extreme burn with borrowed bill would make it a killer effect. Of course they would want the larger value bills instead, then you can just change them back. Or if at first you change them to different currency bills (as you stated in an other post) I think they are more likely to want their dollars back don't you think??

I am sure there is a way to handle that. I have not thought of one yet.

I have played with the idea and it isn't worth it. Because it is anti-climatic once you change their 1 to 20's and back. unless you have money to give out.
roses are green, violets are yellow...oh and i'm color blind

Another poster came up with a really good solution to changing the $100 back to $1. Patter is along the lines of how he should invest all these $100's in something like a 401k - but oh, wait a minute, he just realized that most people's 401k's have now become 101k's! Maybe better to stick to magic than investments.

Or you just take their 1 dollar bills try to change them to 100s you miss and turn them into 100s but it's monopoly money (or paper). You're sorry and you change it back.
Or (the better if you do the trick to someone you know is going abroad for vacations) you change it into different currency of the same amount. |

You can also ask for only one of theirs. After you have all twentys, take out (supposedly) theirs. Do some type of switch (TT for example) to make it turn back to an one.

With foreign currency, you can't change the bills to 'larger number' but less value... that way, they'll want their money back.

The problem with this is that the bills need to be folded correctly. Taking two bills from a spectator could mess up the effect (unless you fold them right in front of the spectator)

Yeah, you would have to instruct the participant to carefully fold each bill exactly in half, and then place them below you top bill. Doable, but might not be worth the effort.
