I know you guys have it hard when it comes to gaffing. I found out an interesting fact, though. If you order a custom gaff from one of the big dogs, and you have someone play middle man from the US or another country (receive it first, then ship to you), customs will most likely let it pass. I have played the middleman, and it does work. My friend has received all his items he ordered with no hassle from the gov. Just letting you guys know, there is some hope.

I do the "Middleman" thing to, for a friend in Portugal and another friend in Brazil. It works every time. Just be sure to value whatever you are sending at $10.00 USD or less on the customs declaration that you must fill out. I also give the description as a "gift" or a "toy". Both recipients say the packages I send never even get opened by customs.

The only caveat that I would propose is to have patience in case of a postal strike in the country you are sending items to. It happens all the time in Italy and Brazil is just about as bad. The post offices just close down and the mail can sit for a few days to over a month. Sometimes the package mysteriously disappears too, but that has not happened to any of my packages.... yet......I did have one that went to São Paulo and sat in customs for 5 weeks (Brazilian Customs went on strike, LOL!!), but it was finally delivered.

Good Luck and Happy Holidays to everyone.
