The Crooked House
Three ghostly new stories for Christmas: A museum curator knows the story of an old hall and tells three stories over three nights.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/pressoffice/pressre......ed.shtml

It's on BBC4 (UK) at 10:30pm 22 / 23 / 24th December. I reckon it'll be available on the BBC IPlayer which anyone in the world can access.

Apparently it's starring Derren Brown in his first acting role (yeah - how much don't they know about him LOL) and Andy Nyman.

Also:
Jonathan Creek Christmas Special - New Year's day
For those who don't know this series - where have you been???!!!

Enjoy and Happy Christmas!

Good call Matt; also Tony "Time Team" Robinson is doing 3 special investigations into paranormal events in the UK. Can't remember the full details, but will include the mass-reincarnation hysteria in Bath 1960s, the story of a WWII psychic and the Ghosts of Glastonbury.
Looking forward to it all.
Happy Christmas one & all

I cannot tell a lie when I say you instantly sprang to mind when I first read about this.

Hi Steve,

Here's the details: http://uk-tv-guide.com/pick-of-the-day/2......ecurity/

29th Dec Channel 4 (who do a watch again that I'm sure all others in the world will be able to access - 4 on demand).

So much interesting stuff out there this Christmas (there's also the RI Christmas Lectures look fun - from a science point of view http://www.rigb.org/christmaslectures08/)

Have a good one!

Having watched the first of these last night, I just wanted to say that the first of these was brilliant, very much in the style of M R James.

The Wainscoting: There's something hiding in the wainscoting in one of the rooms of an old hall - http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00gf5cz

Something Old: A 1920s costume ball in the old hall leads back to a tragic wedding - http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00gf5l2

The Knocker: The door knocker from the now demolished hall is put onto the door of a modern day house that has been built on the land and all sorts of strange things begin to happen - http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00gf5sy

Definitely worth watching having seen the first episode. Lots of food for inspiration in your own stories...

Just watched the first episode on the net. Excellent, usual high BBC drama quality and attention to detail. Bring on the other episodes.

I keep waiting for the BBC to run all of its programming in Salt Lake City. I'm sure it will start any day now.
Beware of this and that.
