In my family, with the exception of a couple of the kids that take after their fathers, we have a bunch of razor wits who until they learn to filter often get into trouble. My niece got her first job as a bagger at a major, at least here on the West Coast, grocery store. She did well with the bagging but would tear up the checkers and customers. Her final hoorah came as follows (my nephew was checking, he is one of the humorless kids).
Situation: Customer is in line buying ten bottles of what is called Smart Water at $2.00 a bottle. I've no idea why it is called Smart Water. Niece: So, you are buying Smart Water huh? Customer: Yes Niece: Do you drink it? Customer: Yes Niece: Guess it doesn't work, if you were smart you wouldn't be paying $2 for a bottle of water.... She is focusing on school work now. |

I would of had a laugh if she said that to me. What an *** that guy was to get her fired.

Every time I see somebody heaving a case of bottled water onto the checkout conveyor, I smile and think "Water? I'm so rich I have that stuff piped in ... heck, sometimes I fill up a big ol' trough in my bathroom and wash my *** in it!"

What's a couple of 100% mark up between friends?
The cheapest water on the shelf is the distilled water, and it is also the only pure water on the shelf.
