A version of "Think A Drink".

Hi Matt,
One of my professors in my master's program said, "History is a lot longer than just what you can remember." Hospitality is Jim Steinmeyer's version of Alan Wakeling's routine. The Think A Drink trick was first performed by Hoffman: See http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......orum=130 Many others have performed this as well. Steve Cohen also does a wonderful and unbelievable version of this trick. Hospitality is much easier to perform, but does not have the option of the audience members calling out drinks. Lou |

Hospitality! that's what its called! Thanks guys....my friend told me about an interesting plot with this effect, where you COULD have "any" drink named..however, it only plays to large audiences! Where would one purchase this effect?

Hi Guys. My adopted son(who hopes to turn pro magician after graduating from Lisbon University) and I have been researching The Magic Kettle, for 12 months.
Mike has performed his version based on the old method I used in my Dante Tribute Show in 1980. I substituted the effect for the Beer Barrel. He has also built his own Talking magic Kettle. What we are trying to discover is: 1. Who purchased JAY PALMER's Kettle, after he died. 2. Possibly the mechanical method he used. He mention it in an article--'From Keg To Kettle' in The Sphinx. Saying his first kettle was 'a mechanical atrocity' BUT his latest was 'a marvel of mechanical perfection'. The information we seek is NOT for publication or for sharing--just for our great interest in this classical effect Many thanks Allen Tipton UK
