There seems to be a lot of interest in show videos / promotional videos.

This topic somewhat belongs in the "You Oughta Be In Pictures" section.

But I think it makes more sense to keep it in the "Little Darlings" section, so we can keep focused on videos of ourselves -- kidshow performers who participate in the "Little Darlings" section of The Magic Café.

We get to know each other a bit by our posts and by PMs, but another effective way to build rapport is to share our own promotional videos or show videos. This way we can see each other perform, and get to know one another's performance styles, levels of progress, etc.

For this thread, I recommend that you post a link to your own video, rather than a link to someone else's video. Very often, when links are posted to another performer's video(s), it can be misinterpreted as an attack or critical behavior. Some people do not want to share a link here to their own video footage for whatever reason, and we should respect their wishes for privacy.

Ross, I have to tell you man, I am just such a fan! I remembered a while ago you posted something about doing your show sitting down now and I remembered thinking to myself, "Wow! that has to be tough!" Watching that video was truly inspirational, all the energy and the fun are right there even sitting down! It is also so obvious that you REALLY enjoy the kids. What fun! I laughed out loud at the angry cow bit! Seeing a good show like this just makes my day.

I know from customer calls that having a video right there on
my website has gotten me booked. Having a sample of what I do
for them to watch makes my guarantees of service all that much
more believable.

Right now, I wouldn't put up a new website promoting my services
without video... and preferably videos of what I do and reactions/
testimonials from happy customers.

Nicholas J. Johnson - your videos are excellent! especially the kids one. Yours is my favorite by far for many reasons.

Hope to see many more Magic Café Magicians Videos in this topic over the next few weeks/months and it just goes to show - Your 'magic show' is one thing and your 'marketing material' is another. Nicks video goes a long way in a short time to tell/show his story and in my eyes - it got the info across extremely well.
