I've only read "Approaching Magic", "Card College Lighter", "Revelation", "the Castle Notebooks", "Subtle Card Mysteries vol. 1" and the Zarrow book. Out of these, the Zarrow book is what I voted for. It has excited me most ( with "Revelation" a close second)

If you do more then just close-up you must get this book. Close-up books today, as you can see from the list above, are a dime a dozen. Rarely does a book for the stand-up performer come out with usable material written by an actual worker. Professional Secrets, Geoffry Durham
