Paul, good point! That's why I don't give my vote this year and in future either... I buy and read at least two dozens of new books per year, thin and thick, expensive and less expensive. Time ago I voted for "Benson in Starlight"... I've read (and bought) last year your book, Paul (enjoyed it a lot), but also David Regal's great book. Still I don't like to vote, everyone has his favorites due to his personal interests. To tip my "ticking": If somebody would have asked me to vote for the best book in the last 15 years I might have voted for Simon Aronson's "Simply Simon",but that's just me. Jan

For sheer beauty Revelation, Dai Vernon
For sentimentality and quality Jack Parker's 52 Memories

These three books have raised the quality bar on magic books and everyone else should follow their path.
