I'm aware that there were problems contacting Eddie in the past but with the new website and email setup - and myself being active on here - hopefully that will change for the better.

Are Eddie's UK coins all in the new style inntroduced by the Royal mint last year?

I haven't seen many of the new coins in every day use yet.

But, yes certain new designs can and will be introduced at some point.

The new copper coins are only copper plated which brings an added problem.

At the moment all the effects use the traditional designs we all know.

They are starting to come into circulation now. Using them prematurely may create unwanted interest in the coins, so patients is a virtue here.. I suspect the situation may reverse in a years time, when we will have to replace our old sets. Good news for Eddie maybe ;-). Anyway great to see the EG website and tnx for the prompt reply.

Wish they took credit cards. But web site says checks or money orders only...
