Cherokee People (Cher) Heartbeat (Tony Defranco and the Defranco's) Billy don't be a Hero (i forget) the night chicago died (????) I can't remember it all... well it was 30-35 years ago I turned 46 on the 7th of Jan and have a tough time remembering **** that happened when I was younger... never thought that it would happen but there you go.

That's a good album!
Paper Lace did "The Night Chicago Dies" but you did pretty darn good from memory. I can't remember who did "Billy Don't Be a Hero" either. Gotta look it up now or it will bug me all day. Update: Paper Lace also did "Billy Don't Be a Hero"! But so did Bo Donaldson. Since there were multiple songs from the same artist on the album I'm guessing you got the Paper Lace version.

Sounds right, (Paper Lace)
I think it had Tony Orlando's (and Dawn) Tie a Yellow Ribbon but I am straining the grey matter way thin... I loved that album I bought it at Woolworths I think...

Man...I use to roller skate to Billy Don't Be A Hero...
Sylvias Mother, great song. You know she would have caved in if she got on that phone. I want all you youngunz to go get a copy of Dr. Hooks Bankrupt album and do something to mellow out and just listen to it. No, it doesn't have Sylvias Mother on it but still.... |

Paul Revere and the Raiders Had a # 1 hit with Cherokee people, also know as Indian Reservation. I don't remember Cher having a version.

Chers song was Half Breed. In fact that was all she ever heard.
