Hi Donald;
I downloaded Ventriloquist Scripts for Dummies by Alan Allan & Paul Romhany from LYBRARY.COM and was somewhat disappointed. The scripts are titled: The Mad Cow (It's literally about a MAD COW, get it)7 pages of BIG type, with generous spacing between lines. The Overweight Girl Puppet (Running gag "I'm Fat and I'm Proud!") 7 pages The Goofy Chicken (routine ends when Chicken bite Vent thumb off and exclaims "Tastes like Chicken!")7 pages. The Politician (Running Gag "Yahoo I'm running for Office") 6 pages. The Obnoxious Puppet (Adult oriented material) 8 pages. I would say that the last four scripts contain adult oriented material All in all, if you comb through each routine you can find some funny material to blend into your own scripts. If you are looking for a drop and load script for a family show, this isn't it. On the up side, it motivated me to start writing scripts for my characters. |

Hi Devlinn,
thanks, for the heads up. The ad read good, but.... I've been able to write ONE script so far for one of my characters. I've been able to take bits and pieces of others and form a script. Reading books on script writting but haven't totally got there yet, but I'm trying. Thanks again. Now I have $15.00 to spent on something else. |
