I love Bob Sheets' Big Dice Version of Dr.Sachs Dice-Routine. It plays very well for table hopping - even at darker places, where the normal dice would not be seen.
Can anybody help me with an address, where I can get the big dice for the routine? (Like Jumbo Casino dice with sharp edges) Thank you for your help! Felix P.S. If I posted this in the wrong section, please apologize! |

Rather than waiting a week or so for someone to mail them to you, check for a local gaming store in your town. I don't know about Germany, but here in the USA they are plentiful and they always have a lot of varieties and sizes for dice.

Where is the Sheets version of the effect located?

The Sheets' version is on a videotape entitled "It's the Rules" available (I believe exclusively) at the Denny & Lee Magic Studio. The effect is described at http://www.dennymagic.com/cgi-bin/hazel.......m=005552 and you can order it at 1-888-207-8374.

You can find dice of all sizes and descriptions at http://www.gamblersgeneralstore.com/. If you have normal adult hands (meaning you're around 1.8 meters tall and have "regular" hands), you can probably use 30mm dice. If not, go for 25mm dice. The Gamblers General Store has both sizes.
I do encourage you to shop locally if you can, so look for gaming stores in your area. |

I found that regular casino dice were a little too big for me (also I prefer the plain black dots on white dice for laymen unused to casino's).
For a European source of dice of all sizes, try http://www.cards4magic.co.uk Rgds, Ian |

Thank you all for your great dice-sources!
Unfortunatelly you can only get dice with rounded edges in Germany, which are not very suitable for all kinds of Sachs-Routines ... Thanx again! Felix |

I got some really big dice in a California magic shop. Each one is six inches...awesome.
It's not the size of the wand,
but the magic in it ! |
